Hi, I'm Alex.
I'm a cinematographer/director from Indianapolis Indiana. I graduated from Ball State University in December 2015. Part of my style as a director and dp is that I really value run 'n' gun film making while striving to achieve the most cinematic images possible. In a technical sense that usually means I use lots of practical lighting, and film with real anamorphic lenses on a steadicam or slider. In a more abstract sense, my biggest inspiration is Wally Pfister. I'm currently living in Los Angeles and I hope to one day shoot or direct big budget Hollywood features.
